Dave is talking to a potential client on the phone.

Dave: I see, so there’s nothing I can say to make you change your mind?

Client: No, I’m happy with my choice thanks, bye.

The phone conversation ends, whilst Desperate Dan (from the Dandy comic) is chuckling to himself beside the client. The scene changes to Biff and Dave’s office.

Dave: Well it looks like our client pitch was unsuccessful.

Biff: How come?

Dave: They decided to use some cheap cowboy instead.

Biff: Well if that’s the direction they want to take, then we won’t hold it against them. But I’m sure the client will get a poorer website in the long run.

Two months later we’re presented with Biff and Dave enjoying a drink in the pub before Desperate Dan enters the scene, looking a bit worse for wear.

Biff: Wow what happened Dan? You been rebranded again?

Desperate Dan: Nope, scope creep!
